Abstract

The aim of the study was to evaluate the samples using 3.5% NaCl for metallic coatings composed of zinc powder, which were deposited on a low carbon steel substrate using the flame thermal spraying technique.  Corrosion and SEM, AFM, XRD, FESEM, thickness, adhesion, visual tests, microhardness were examined, and the results revealed that the corrosion rate of the sample was reduced (0.0102 mm/y)B2 (velocity=75,distance=125 ,powder feed rate=10) .
