Under the patronage of the President of the University of Technology, Prof. Dr. Ahmed Hassan Al-Ghaban) and the supervision of the Head of the Materials Engineering Department Prof. Dr. Jawad Kazem Aliwi)

The Department of Materials Engineering, in cooperation with the Nanotechnology and Advanced Materials Research Center, held a workshop entitled (Steps to be followed in applying for scientific promotion by Instructions No. 167 in the year 2017), which was given by: Prof. Dr. Rana Afif Majeed, Asst. Prof Dr. Hind Basil Ali in our department in the electronic hall in Building A on Tuesday, 12/12/2023.

Computers Lab

The aim of this laboratory is to teach students the basics of the computer and the windows operating system to the students of the first class as well as the Office and AutoCAD programs. As for the second class the Visual Basic environment is taught, and the student applies various programs and implements them on the calculator. It also teaches students the MATLAB program in the third class, where the students write and execute the program directly on the computer..
